This page is dedicated to the part of the Misic or Missich family which is nowadays spread all over the world. The beginning started as far we know in the village of Siljesci in the hills of Konavli, south of Dubrovnik in Croatia (once Yugoslavia or Austro-Hungarian Empire in that days). Our grand, grand, grandfather, Andrea Misic, as some said was a sailor. On his voyage in the first part of the nineteen century, off the Turkish coast in the eastern Aegean Sea he was disembarked by the crew as a sick person. Hopefully, cured by the local people he survived, married to a local girl and started a new life. He resettled to Smirna (Izmir) in Turkey where most of his offspring still live. We, the new generation of that man decided to strengthen connection between us and decided to put the information on the web.
